OurStory: Teaching K-4 Social Studies With Historical Fiction
The OurStory Web site is the latest evolution of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History's acclaimed OurStory in History family literacy program. OurStory modules are designed to help children and adults enjoy exploring history through the use of objects, quality children’s literature, hands-on activities and visits to museums and historic sites. The program is targeted to the K-4 audience and their adult caregiver(s), but is also appropriate for classroom use.
